Hello! My name is Chelsea, and I am the Designer for Make-Up and Mud Online Boutique. After almost three exciting years in the Forensic Science field, I resigned from my state lab in June 2011 after receiving a diagnosis for Multiple Sclerosis. Now I have the pleasure of creating and designing jewelry and decorative household items everyday, and I love it!
I chose to start designing jewelry after my best friend helped me create the jewelry for my own wedding in March 2011. I immediately found a hobby that I could enjoy for hours on end, with the added bonus that this hobby also keeps my hands active day after day. From the time that I bought my first pair jewelry pliers, I have read every book, watched every video and asked every question that I could about different types of jewelry making and how to upcycle and refurbish items. I love learning new ways to make beautiful new pieces for others to enjoy for many years!
What started out as a simple jewelry making hobby quickly led to many opportunities to design jewelry and gifts for friends and family members. As a result, Make Up and Mud Online Boutique was created! I now sell in my shops on Facebook and Etsy.
